Senior Pastor
Kim is the senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Ponder, and has served in this role since 1986. He is married to Melaynee and has two adult sons, Kaleb and Micah, who are married to Taylor and Mackenzie. He has three granddaughters and one grandson already in heaven.
Matthew Colton
Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Ministries
Matthew joined our staff in March 2023 to serve as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Ministries. Matthew is married to his wife Evelyn, and they have one son, Tyler.. Matthew loves sports, cars, and anything involving the outdoors.
Marci Malcom
Children's Minister
Marci is the Children's Minister of First Baptist Church. She is married to Rance and they have three adult sons, Kale, Konner, and Keaton who are married to Niki, Hannah, and Meredith. They have one granddaughter and five grandsons. Marci joined the FBC staff in September 2022.
Brenda Davidson
Ministry Assistant
Brenda is the ministry assistant at First Baptist Church. She is married to Dennis and they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Brenda has served as ministry assistant since 2009.
