Staff

Kim is the senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Ponder, and has served in this role since 1986. He is married to Melaynee and has two adult sons, Kaleb and Micah, who are married to Taylor and Mackenzie. He has three granddaughters and one grandson already in heaven.

Matthew joined our staff in March 2023 to serve as the Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Ministries. Matthew is married to his wife Evelyn, and they have one son, Tyler.. Matthew loves sports, cars, and anything involving the outdoors.

Marci is the Children's Minister of First Baptist Church.  She is married to Rance and they have three adult sons, Kale, Konner, and Keaton who are married to Niki, Hannah, and Meredith.  They have five grandsons and one granddaughter.  Marci joined the FBC staff in  September 2022.

Stephanie is the nursery/preschool director of First Baptist Church. She is married to David and they have three children and seven grandchildren.  Stephanie has served as nursery/preschool director since 2008.

Brenda is the ministry assistant at First Baptist Church. She is married to Dennis and they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Brenda has served as ministry assistant since 2009.
