God has called First Baptist Church to reach out and serve our community and the entire world. In order to answer that call, FBC participates in a number of mission efforts locally and globally to share Christ’s love and expand the Kingdom of God.  

A few of the Missions supported by FBC Ponder ...

FBC contributes financially to the Southern Baptist Convention, Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, Baptist General Convention of Texas, Denton Baptist Association, each of whom pool resources to reach people with the gospel.  Additionally, FBC Ponder contributes directly to Camp Copass; to church plants in France and Helena, Montana; and Operation Christmas Child.
